Southwest Side Foreclosure Crisis Front Page News

The foreclosure crisis hitting Chicago's Southwest Side was the center of a recent front page Chicago Tribune story on "Neighborhood Ghost Towns."

Several members of the Keep Our Homes (KOH) campaign were featured in the piece and shared their experiences of the rampant foreclosures that are hitting Chicago Lawn and neighboring communities.

VDC worked with reporter Azam Ahmed over several months to connect him to the organizations that lead the KOH efforts on the Southwest Side.
